Our Mission

OUR MISSION

The Mayor's Office of American Male Engagement will devise practices related to implementing our Connect to Success (C2S) and Mission 186 (M 186) strategies. More specifically, we will coordinate sustained programming that proactively advance the educational and socioeconomic development of disconnected boys, youth, and young men, including those who panhandle ("squeegee" youth in the City of Baltimore).

Testimonials

Robert Shearin

``I'm still on the battlefield of preparedness, preparation, mastering, and learning never to give up. And being in front of men like y'all, doing those things is what makes it important to me.``

Shy'Kim Tindall

``You will learn a lot. There are no downs to the program. It's an amazing experience. It'll help you change your life and teach you to be more of a man, even if you never had a dad in your life like I didn't.``

Lance White

``Every day I was there, they were dropping knowledge on me. Like different skills and other things you can do to change unhealthy habits. So, I definitely grew as a person since then.
