Two Components: The Fishers and The Fished.

The Fishers are men who inherently have an unwavering commitment, spirit and love to serve our target population. We seek to provide support and resources to African American Males ages 16 – 49 (The FIshed); however, we provide guidance to men of any age

Fishermen

Our Fishermen program is a ground level, man to man exchange where the Fishers of men possess the ability to speak the language of the men they will encounter in various environments. Fishermen have established social ties that allow them to simulate influence throughout the community.

The Fishing Process

Fishermen are trained to informally assess the immediate needs of the Fished, through forming quality connected relationships. A formal intake assessment for the FIshed is the next step. AAME constructs an Individual Repetition Plan (IRP) to measure progress of a man’s desired outcomes.
